Faith or no faith?
Hi again~ It has been a long time since I blogged. Well, everytime after I came home from school, I am exhausted and weary, so I didn't use my lappy, either I sleep, or if my mood permits, I will study. I am glad and feel satisfaction to know that my friends are kinda constantly looking at my blog and asked why I didn't update. :D This time, I have something to share! I hope it wouldn't bore you guys~ But it definitely didn't bore me!
I believe that almost everyone is interested in poltergeist, demon possession and so on... Something to do with the dark forces. I have been doing some self-reflection as well, before I was a christian, it also interests me deeply too. Before I was a christian, I do believe in evil spirits, and I wondered, if evil spirits exist, then where are the good spirits? But at that time, I couldn't care less about the good spirits. I had been deceived! Same goes to alot of non-christians as well. So, these few days, I had been searching youtube for videos or tapes that happened to record some angels or something, and praise the lord, I have found some cool videos!
The morale of this post is to show you that good spirits (e.g angels) exist! I want to bring across this message that God and angels are really there! And you might ask me, "How do you know?" or give yourself reasons and excuses to reject the existence of God. For that, what I can reply is, look for PROOF!
Examples:
Q:How do you know there is wind? Ans: The rustling of leaves proves it.
Q:How do you know the kettle is boiling? Ans: The steam proves it.
Proof for His existence:
The creation (world) proves the creator.
The heaven proves his GLORY.
The Son (Jesus Christ) proves the father.
The cross proves his LOVE.
We are always struggling to believe what we cannot see. Why? Because we are not really LOOKING. Give yourself the chance to experience God and don't be STUBBORN. Have Faith.
Matthew 7:7 :
Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

Controversy (Ex. Miss Singapore).
Video attached below:
Interviewing Ris Low
I have been thinking about what to write for my blog, and I hope that it's not just about my mundane life, but rather, more interesting stuffs. So I thought that this is a good topic, perhaps...
I am sure almost everyone knows about Ris Low, the ex Miss Singapore who recently ended her reign due to a credit card fraud, and everyone has been insulting and making a joke out of her because of her bad english. Personally, I did had a good laugh watching that interview with her, and apparently, she doesn't know how to pronounce words that end with "ality". Take for example, hospitality and personality. LOL. Well, no doubt about the fact that she was really nervous and traumatized by the camera, but that doesn't excuse her from the poor pronunciation and senseless answers.
I find it rather irony, a Singaporean calling another fellow Singaporean fail. Seriously, come to think of it, most of the Singaporean's english proficiency ain't high as well. Currently, we are having a "speak good english" campaign, I doubt it is of any help. Being in a multi-racial country has it's down side as well~ As we are speaking english, we tend to add in some malay/chinese words, and at times, we do a direct translation from chinese to english, which sounds hilarious. Like, "you at where?". For me, I always stress on the importance of speaking good english, like perfect grammar, spelling and so on...
Some singaporeans think that it's alright to speak in singlish, as they think that it's uniquely singapore. For me, I feel that it's disgraceful. If you are speaking english, then you jolly well follow the rules, and don't change or add anything and claim that it's special. Well, I have said enough. What about your views? Feel free to comment on my c-box.
Good english ftw.

"Congratulation 4th Sister!"
Finally, my 4th sister (celine), and my brother-in-law (bryan) have settled down and put a full-stop to their single status. I gave them my deepest, most sincere blessings and wishes, so as my other sisters as well. Nevertheless, it is up to both of them to keep this rolling , and like an avalanche, getting bigger and full of joy. They have known each other for like 10+ years, and for my sister, it is like a dream come true, because bryan is her first love. Personally, I have also known bryan for incredibly long time, as he has been living at my house during the weekends, sometimes weekdays too!
I believe marriage takes two hands to clap, sometimes one has to give in, and sometimes one has to insist. Just like a bicycle, there are 2 pedals. If both of the pedals wants the top, how can the bicycle then proceed and move even further? But of course, even if you are the one below, sometimes you need to climb to the top as well. It is easy, not. I feel that nothing is easy in life, but with a little bit of perserverance, a little bit of love & care from your loved ones, a little bit of effort, and a little bit of faith, it can definitely get you somewhere.
小妹姐姐和志勇“gorgor”,希望你们能够彼此依靠,彼此扶持。虽然有时候难免有风吹雨打,只要一人让一步,体谅对方,我相信你们一定能够熬过的!加油!
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perservers." 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Amen!

"Class Chalet.
We had our class chalet at costa sands resort from 23/9 to 25/9, which is 3 days 2 nights. For me, it was not too bad, though we didn't really have alot of activities, but hanging around and chatting with your friends are good enough.
During the first day, which is wednesday (23/9), after my hair-cut, I reached the chalet at around 4.30p.m, and at night, we had our BBQ. Okay for the BBQ part, there wasn't alot of food, as in variety. Anyway, I don't mind cause I only ate satay and o'tah, as I was having a mild sore throat, and hope that I wouldn't make it worse or something, but it didnt't thwart the infection. In the end, I fell sick today. =( Not having sufficient sleep and water are the core and source for the progression of my illness. After the BBQ, we chilled out in our room and had some vodka, and 3 people got drunk, including me. Well, I didn't really want to talk about this part, so unglamorous! Apparently when I am drunk, I literally laugh at every single shit, which is in fact, quite hilarious. =X Then next day, I felt so crap, like something is wrong, but I couldn't pinpoint what was it. Maybe it was some withdrawal symptom or aftermath of alcohol.Hahaha.
On thurday 24/9, we went to wild wild wet! That was my first visit to WWW, and I must say it was great! Two things I dont like about WWW is that the thrill rides ain't thrilling enough, and the water depth is not deep enough! Going in as a group is more exciting, and I tried every single rides. Those who wish to visit WWW, please apply some sunblock before entering, it would definitely help alot! Playing for 3 hours, from 1p.m to about 4p.m, baked the hell outta me without any sunblock. One friend of mine said that I look like crab stick LOL~
Ouchies.

"Sentiments for my attachment."
My attachment, from 14th sep to 18th sep, was an interesting one. I have learnt tremendously from Dental Therapist See, and understand how the clinic is ran and managed. Seriously, it's so not easy! Imagine half-way when you are treating a patient, suddenly a group of primary school children run in, crowd around you, fumble with your dental instruments/equipments, and under quite a level of stress if parents or a lot of patients are waiting...... She has worked for 20+ years already, with that level of experience, everything is like routine for her and not as challenging already, but sometimes it can be a pain in the ass though. Normally you work alone in the clinic, so it can be quite boring and creepy at times.
Prevention is better than cure, and I have seen how DT See educates and teaches the children how to take care of their teeth and oral health. DT's job is more than just doing treatments for the patients. We should ensure that after every visit, their oral hygiene will improve, rather than staying the same or deterioratng.
On 17th sep, which is my last day at pei chun primary school, during lunch time (12.30am to 1.30p.m), DT See treated me lunch. We ate wanton mee. =D And I found out that she is a christian! Actually I kinda guessed, from the way she talks. We discussed and asked each other about our churches and how we became a christian. She is a nice lady, and I am glad that she is my in-charge.
May God bless her and everyone I know.

"First day at attachment."
Today, I had to wake up at 6a.m to meet at health promotion board with the rest of the class and Madam Soh. Yesterday I had BBQ at Quartz condo, and slept at about 2a.m, yea, so I was exhausted today. Talking about the BBQ, I am glad that holy spirit was working among us, and opened lz's mind, ears, eyes and heart, for him to accept christ. Trust me lz, the angels in heaven are rejoicing about this news!
After a 1.5 hours of briefing at the HPB, we went to our own respective schools. For me, I went to eat first and slept for 1 hour before I report to Pei Chun Public School, as we had been released early. Hahaha! Btw, because Pei Chun is near my house, that's why I have the luxury of time to rest for one hour first, and definitely, it feels good to be back to my primary school! :D
There are 2 therapists working there, Ms Lee and Ms See, and they are friendly and nice. Thank God! Well, I will be going there until thursday, and I really hope it ends soon. LOL cause it's so boring! But I have learnt quite abit from the therapists too and they are both experienced. (20+ years of exp) That's all for now. =P
Have faith.
